Home construction

Every lot owner will be free to design their home inside the buildable lot area and within the established guidelines to assure compatibility with the natural surroundings and to guarantee the lowest  environmental impact.  All homes have to be LEED certified  as part of our effort to reduce the negative environmental impacts of buildings and improve occupant health and well-being.
These guidelines are legally enforced though the use of a “conservation easement” structure  (“servidumbre ecológica” in Spanish) and assure all owners our green approach will be maintained indefinitely.

Whether you want a small 2-bedroom home (example above) or a 4-bedroom family home, we can help you find a qualified arquitect and construction company to assure you of the highest building standards.  We will also offer three standard designs that are LEED-certified and allow customized finishing.  But, you are free to bring in your own people if you prefer.

Within the 1.000 m2 (0.25 acre) building envelop you may also create a garage, stable for horses and other storage space.  We strongly discourage the building of private pools but they are allowed.  Instead we recommend this….

Below a few more examples of homes on hill sites around the world that maximize the concept of living immersed in nature with a minimal footprint.
